Yesterday, we introduced a number of new feature refinements to help improve your review workflow, specifically to the review canvas. These include:
- Items that have new comments on them will now display a “New” icon in the thumbnail as well as on the comments themselves. This will make it possible for collaborators to more easily locate new feedback without having to cycle through each item to find it.
- It’s now possible to hide all the numbered pins that are displayed on an item (and sometimes obscuring it) by collapsing the comments in the comment bar. When the comment bar is closed, you can click on any heading to display it or use the arrows at the top of the comment bar to cycle through each comment one at a time.
- Admin users can now curate any review and delete any comments that are not relevant to the task at hand. This can be useful for filtering out unnecessary comments in copied reviews that are forwarded to production staff for followup.
- File names are now displayed directly on the thumbnails to facilitate their identification.
These small improvements should improve your review workflow. Let us know if there are any other features we can add to improve you proofing and approval experience.
