This week we’re off to NAB in Las Vegas – the world’s largest trade show for the broadcast industry – featuring close to 1,800 exhibitors and bringing together over 100,000 media professionals from 160 countries. For us, NAB is an annual opportunity to touch base with some of our partners and to meet and research potential new ones (there are over 350 exhibitors featuring DAM and production workflow solutions so lots of territory to cover!)
In addition to the meetings and research, we also make the effort to attend some events or sessions that help us stay on top of industry trends. This year our interest is piqued by the Virtual Reality Summit, the Advanced Advertising Theater (“The Business of Content”) and the Future of Cinema Conference . Next week we’ll follow up on this post with a summary of our discoveries and impressions from the show.
